Old Coptic Cairo
We will pick you up from your hotel at 3:00 a.m. and drive to Cairo about 430 km. (differing route from Marsa Alam to Cairo) by air-conditioned car or mini-bus. At around 3:30 a.m. we take a short break in a restaurant. We arrive in Cairo around 8 a.m. and first take a short city tour through old Cairo so that you can get to know real life in Egypt better. Then we visit the Egyptian Museum, the treasury of the 7,000-year-old civilization.
Egyptian Museum
The legacies of ancient Egyptian culture are preserved in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, one of the most important museums in the world. They tell the story of an intelligent people and their great achievements. In fact, you can feel the charisma of the wonderful works and the magic of ancient Egypt in the garden of the museum, even before entering the building. The museum is filled with the scents of a glorious past and in the eyes of the statues you can see the light of bygone times shining
Local Lunch
We then have lunch in a local restaurant and then drive to Giza
The Great Pyramids
Then we head directly to Giza , Giza, where we visit the pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. The pyramids are certainly the most spectacular evidence of an advanced civilization on the Nile. On the day trip from Marsa alam to Cairo, you will have visited and explored the highlights of the historic city. We leave Cairo to Marsa Alam at around 3 p.m. and you'll be back at the hotel at around 8 p.m.
