Old Coptic Cairo
We will pick you up from the hotel at 2:30 a.m. and drive to Cairo approximately 430 km in an air-conditioned car or mini-bus. At around 5:30 a.m. we take a short break in a restaurant. We arrive in Cairo around 8 a.m. and first take a short city tour through old Cairo so that you can get to know real life in Egypt better.
Egyptian Museum
Then we visit the Egyptian Museum, the treasury of the 7,000-year-old civilization. The legacies of ancient Egyptian culture are preserved in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, one of the most important museums in the world. They tell the story of an intelligent people and their great achievements. In fact, you can feel the charisma of the wonderful works and the magic of ancient Egypt in the garden of the museum, even before entering the building. The museum is filled with the scents of a glorious past and in the eyes of the statues you can see the light of bygone times shining.
Lunch & Pyramids
We then have lunch in a local restaurant and then drive to Giza, where we visit the pyramids, the Sphinx and the Valley Temple. The pyramids are certainly the most spectacular evidence of an advanced civilization on the Nile. On the day trip from Hurghada to Cairo, you will have visited and explored the highlights of the historic city. We leave Cairo for Hurghada at around 3 p.m. and you'll be back at the hotel at around 8 p.m.
